Directions for getting to Deer Haven Acres.  Because the hunting grounds at Deer Haven Acres are privately owned and managed, Deer Haven hunters are exempt from normal state and federal game laws. This means that you don't need to have a license. You can can hunt our trophy whitetail bucks any time after September until the bucks drop their horns in the spring of the year. The genetics that produce bucks like "Bullwinkle", Deer Haven's unbelievably monstrous, non-typical whitetail, produce many bucks at Deer Haven Acres that score well over the Boone and Crockett minimum of 185. If you want a true trophy whitetail--one that you'll be proud to hang on your wall--you'll get one at Deer Haven Acres. It's that simple!  The lodging at Deer Haven Acres is top-notch! Hunters and their guests reside in our immaculately decorated 7500 sq. foot cabin. Trophy Whitetail Hunting
Located in rural and scenic Central Wisconsin, Deer Haven Acres can be best described as a place away from it all. Away from the city, traffic, and stress of everyday life.
Deer Haven Acres hosts a 280-acre wildlife preserve that's home to a variety of wildlife, including whitetail deer, elk, turkey, and other animals native to Southern Wisconsin.
If you're in search of a trophy deer, you're in luck! Deer Haven Acre's whitetail herd is managed to produce true trophies. Boone and Crockett class whitetail have been harvested by a number of former Deer Haven hunters. There's no reason why you can't have one as well! In addition to whitetail hunting, Deer Haven Acres provides hunters with the option to hunt various game birds. Turkey, pheasant, chukar, and a few other birds can be hunted year-round.
