About Us
Deer Haven Acres is a hunting preserve located near Adams, Wisconsin. The preserve itself is 280 acres and contains fields, hardwood groves, rolling hills, and rock bluffs. It’s inhabited by a carefully managed whitetail population, turkey, and wildlife native to Central Wisconsin.
The whitetail herd at Deer Haven Acres posses very good genetics. That, along with a year-round diet of nutrient-rich food, produces whitetail bucks well above average. The average buck harvested at the preserve scores around 150, according to the Boone and Crockett scoring system. However, a number of bucks that score 180 and above (well into the record book for whitetail) can be found on the preserve at any given time.
Deer Haven Acres was founded in the year of 2000 by the Marx Family. It’s still owned and managed today by the Marx Family. |
